Pastor Poole's Commentary
Jim Poole is a retired United Methodist Church pastor, having served several churches in Central Illinois, including Springfield and Decatur. Before going into the ministry, he was a high school teacher and coach. He married his high school sweetheart. They have two children and four grandchildren.
Jim started his ministry in 1984 as a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. While a student at ATS, he learned to study the Bible inductively. He has used that method for over 30 years to compile his own Bible commentary. By sharing his work, he hopes it will help people have a better understand of God's Word.
