Pilgrim's Progress

The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan

Pilgrim’s Progress was first written in 1678. Since then it has gone through thousands of editions and version. I especially like the latest edition by Bridge-Logos of Alachua, Florida 32615. Bunyan put into an allegory many of the life experiences of Christians down through time mixed with scripture interwoven. This edition is written in today’s language that makes for easier reading. I personally find that not only does this book remind me of past experiences of my own, but also is a flag of warning of possible future dangers and blessings. I have read this book at least five times and every time I’ve come upon new experiences that I can say, “By the grace of God so go I!” Next to God’s holy word, I find this simple book as one I hold special in my own pilgrim’s progress.
